Artist's Background:
Born in Washington, D.C., Ginger has lived in Virginia most of her life. Her typical subject matter includes landscapes (especially local scenes), figures and animals (especially horses). She enjoys using a wide variety of media to create both abstract and realistic art. She is the mother of Jessica Sanaie.
Artist's Credentials:
She has taken classes at the Art League School in Alexandria, and has studied with local and nationally-known instructors including Gerald Brommer, Frank Webb, Susan Herron, Skip Lawrence and Marsha Staiger. She has exhibited at the Art League Gallery, Gallery West, Strathmore Hall, Emerson Ramp Gallery, Goodwin House and other local venues. She is a member of the McLean Art Society and the Art League.
